Dr Zhivago drawings, charcoal on Arches paper, 23.3 cm x 25.5 cm
Based on Boris Pasternak's book 'Dr Zhivago' , this set of nine drawings use Russia's national emblem, the silver birch (which is a symbol of spring, light and love) as a metaphor for the relationship between Lara and Dr Zhivago.
