KASHMIR SHAWL Series         

The Kashmir Shawl series paintings (2012) was a research residency sponsored by Arts Council England with Grants for the Arts funding comprising a solo exhibition - 'Pip Dickens - New Works' - at The Stanley and Audrey Burton Gallery at the University of Leeds in 2012.

The painting, 'Some Travel Alone',  was purchased for the Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery collection by the Friends of University of Leeds Art & Music.

​

Research took place in the University of Leeds International Textile Archive (ULITA).
